Corm sub-globose, sometimes elliptic, 10–20 mm in wide and 8–20 mm in length; outer and inner tunics coriaceous; tunics sometimes split into weak parallel segments; neck 6–8 mm long; rings hard, without teeth; cataphylls white, brown with age, tips are greenish; leaves 4–6 , slightly below the flowers at anthesis, green, glabrous or minutely ciliated, 1–1.5 mm in diameter , 3 ribs underneath; white stripe 0.3–0.4 mm, almost 1/3 of leaf diameter. Throat yellow, surrounded by a yellow stain, glabrous; perigone tube creamy to yellowish, no stripes or blotches towards the apex. Outer segments 21–35 mm long and 6–12 mm wide. Inner segments 20–34 mm long and 6–13 mm wide. Inside of all segments is a pure white to very pale lilac, the inner side of outer segments pure white to very pale lilac. Outside of outer segments is pure white to very pale lilac, sometimes darker at tips, with no stripes. Outside colour of the inner segments uniformly pure white to very pale lilac without markings. Prophyll absent. Bract and bracteole present, silvery-white , skinny; bracteole slightly narrower than bract. Filaments on average 3–5 mm , yellow; anthers 10–15 mm , yellow, connective colourless to yellow. Pollen grain yellow. The style yellow to orange, divided into 3 reddish-orange branches, which are 4–11 mm ; the style always shorter than the stamen. Capsule ellipsoid, 10–15 mm long , 4–5 mm wide and seeds ovate-elliptic with a small raphe, covered with sparse hispid hairs.
