Like T. alexandrinum L. but differing in having rather smaller leaves , subulate 1-nerved calyx teeth usually spreading in fruit, an obconical, indurated, calyx tube with an open densely ciliate throat when in fruit, and in the calyces separating individually at maturity. Fl. 3-5. Fields and damp places.
