Erect, bushy shrub to 60 cm; whole plant pubescent and with small, glandular hairs. Leaves usually in whorls of 4, 8,5-13 x 0,8-1,3 mm. Inflorescence usually terminal, umbels 3-6-flowered, with reduced leaves below; pedicels 7-15 mm; bracts and bracteoles c. 6 mm, in middle part of pedicel. Flowers 5-merous. Sepals pinkish, c. 6,5 mm. Corolla pink, urceolate, 7,5-9 x 5-5,5 mm, sparsely pubescent, lobes c. 1,2 mm. Stamens 10; filaments bent, 3-3,5 mm, with small spurs at apex; anthers c. 2,7 mm. Ovary 5-locular, pubescent; style impressed, c. 5,5 mm. Fl. 4-5. Shady limestone cliffs, often with Globularia davisiana, 60-100 m.
