Stems monomorphic, slender, internodes 10-18 mm. Leaves to 30 mm, 2-lobed, lobes ± broadly ovate, divided into capillary denticulate segments, teeth bearing solitary or fasciculate setae. Scapes 11-35 cm, usually flexuous after anthesis, 2-10-flowered. Bracts 1-4 mm. Pedicels 7-13 mm, lengthening to 14-23 mm after flowering, 2 ¼-12 x length of bract, ascending- or recurving-patent. Corolla lemon yellow, 8-14 mm, upper lip longer than palate, lower lip with undulate margin. Spur 4-7·5 mm, narrowly cylindrical-conical, tapering gradually to obtuse apex, internal glands present on both abaxial and adaxial surfaces. Rip·e capsules apparently never formed. Fl. 5-8. Still pools, lakesides and swamps, 40-1930 m.
