Perennial with erect, slender and tortuous stems. Leaves linear-oblanceolate, acute, 15-25 x 1-2 mm, indumentum silvery. Cauline leaves increasing in size upwards. Petals pale lemon yellow, entire, obovate, 4-5.5 x 2-3 mm. Fruits 2-3.5 mm long and wide, orbicular, deeply emarginate, indumentum ± sparse, of strongly punctate hairs. Styles 1,5-2 mm. Seeds wingless or narrowly winged. Fl. 5-6. Igneous rocky slopes, 700-1200 m.
Endemic; allied to A. armenum.
