Similar to O. coriophora, but with 6-12 linear leaves in a basal rosette, ± withered at flowering time; flowers larger; apex of sepal hood free, elongated and directed forwards; labellum flat, c. 15 mm, pink to pale red, unspotted, glabrous, middle lobe ligulate, acuminate, lateral lobes rhombic, 3-4-serrate; spur incurved towards apex. Fl. 4-6. Grassy sunny places on calcareous soils, s.l.-450 m.
