Subscapose, very glaucous, glabrous herb. Leaves triangular in outline, the two lateral divisions as large as the middle division. Ultimate segments elliptic, entire or lobed, not more than 7 mm. Inflorescence a raceme or panicle, the peduncles much exceeding the bracts, elongating considerably in fruit, arcuate-spreading. Stigma sagittate with an irregular margin. Achenes oblong-fusiform, strongly ribbed, 5-6 mm. Fl. 5. Rock ledges, 1100-1800 m.
Soviet Armenia, N. Iraq, Syrian Desert, Iran, Afghanistan, Altai. Mainly in the Ir.-Tur. region.
